About
In case you’re wondering about who the heck I am – here’s the skinny. In my day job I serve as the Vice President of Technology and the Virtual Campus at Lake Superior College in Duluth, MN. That means I am responsible for the e-learning efforts at Lake Superior Connect, as well as computer services and web services at the college.
After obtaining a B.S. degree and a Masters in Accounting from Arizona State University, I served as an accounting faculty member at various universities including ASU, Florida Atlantic University, University of Minnesota Duluth, and for six years at LSC.
I am proud to represent the North Central region as a board member for the Instructional Technology Council. States included in the North Central include Nebraska, South Dakota, North Dakota, Minnesota, Iowa, Wisconsin, Illinois, Michigan, Indiana, and Ohio.
I am currently serving in a three-year role on the Executive Committee of the Minnesota Online Council within the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities.
First year (’05-06) as Chair-Elect, second year (’06-07) as Chair, and I’m currently completing the sentence (’07-08) as Past Chair. During 2002-2003 I also chaired the IMS of the Future selection process for the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities which led to the adoption of a single IMS for all of the colleges and universities in MnSCU.
